Email: [email protected] Bio: Eva Sauvé is a classically trained pianist who started playing at age 9 and has studied piano performance at Western Washington University. Eva enjoys playing the works of Bach, Beethoven, and Debussy, and loves collaborating with string players and vocalists. Eva teaches students of all ages how to play with ease and expression. She strives to make each lesson positive and fun, and ultimately wants her students to be able to play music they’re passionate about. Eva has studied with Milica Jelaca-Jovanovic, Jeffrey Gilliam, and Kay Zavislak. |
Dorie Guidon

I have been an active member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) since 1997. With the state organization, WSMTA (Washington State Music Teachers Association), I have served as Board of Directors Secretary, District I Vice-President and five years as State MAP Chair. In 2018 I was inducted into the WSMTA Hall of Fame. In our local Bellingham Chapter, I have served as President, Vice-President, Secretary, recital chair and competition chair as well as various other committees. I attended WPPI (Well Prepared Piano Institute) as well as studying for 25 years with independent teachers. I have also been an active accompanist and church musician. I am currently taking only adult students. |
Kaitlyn Ronstadt

In 2020, Kaitlyn completed her Master's in Music in Piano Performance, and in 2017 she completed her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, both from Western Washington University. Kaitlyn has a growing private piano studio and has been teaching piano in the Bellingham area since 2013. Kaitlyn’s teaching style is exploratory and student centered. With her training in the Taubman method, Kaitlyn creates a holistic learning approach that accounts for our mind-body connection while helping students develop strong piano technique, intentional listening skills, and overall artistry. Additionally, students will go in-depth with music notation, rhythm, tone production, interpretation and theory during lessons. Kaitlyn has experience working with students of all ages, from four year old beginners sitting at a piano for the first time, to advanced adult students looking to refine their technique and musicianship. |
Lorraine Earle

I specialize in teaching the whole musician, and I work with young children through adults. I have been teaching piano for 32 years. My other teaching experiences include directing a children's choir and teaching general music to grade school children. My training includes a piano performance degree from WWU, piano study in Germany with Herr Gregory Gruzmann and certification through the Music Teachers' National Association, through which I completed the requirements for Permanent Lifetime Certification in 2007. I am a member and on the board of the Bellingham Music Teachers' Association, a local professional association that provides me with ongoing training as well as opportunities for my students to participate in master classes, recitals and contests.
